Additional Information
Reason for Selling: The owner is relocating.
Business Description: The business specializes in maintenance-service, repair, and/or replacement of domestic, automatic transmissions in two-wheel and four-wheel drive cars, trucks, vans, motor homes, etc. The business was first opened in 1973. The business has been family owned and operated since 1973. In 2007 the owner registered the business as an S-Corporation. He continues to do business as the sole employee, although there is ample room for three more auto technicians.
Potential for Growth: The purchase of thisbusiness is an unique opportunity to acquire an established business with commercial real estate and an on-site residence. A financially qualified buyer might be an individual who is a seasoned automotive service manager, or a service technician with a good business mind and customer disposition. A new owner/operator has room to expand the business by expanding the operation into a complete automotive repair shop and can continue to specialize in transmission repair if so desired. A further opportunity exists to get into the fleet repair business and to add a 24/7 towing service. There is plenty of room in the garage to add a minimum of two to four auto technicians. Further operating efficiencies could be realized by hiring a dedicated service writer. In addition, the business can be advertised which has never been done. If you are ready to move from a smaller shop to a large shop or ready to become an owner/operator versus continue as an employee of an auto service center – this business is for you. That said, the garage and land has many alternate business uses no matter what business you own and operate.
